The ALC Robotics Bootcamp is a 2-day weekend training program that brings together young people aged 16-23 years to empower them to take ownership of their learning, equip them to think entrepreneurially and understand the foundations of many advancements in robotics and automation.
As robots continue to infiltrate our everyday lives and increasingly impact how we live, together with the rise of artificial intelligence, the 21st-century leader needs to build a minimum awareness of the technological underpinnings behind such advancements. This non-residential boot camp involves a mix of workshops, team-building sessions and projects to be delivered over two weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) by ALC staff and students. These activities will introduce the participants to the basics of programming to develop the proper knowledge and skill set to deliver on the final challenge day.

What are the benefits of attending the ALC Robotics Bootcamp?
The ALC Robotics Bootcamp will be one of a kind. Participants will have access to modern educational equipment (Lego Mindstorm Kits), which is not widely available in academic institutions in Mauritius. Participants will be exposed to our high-caliber facilitators and resource persons and challenged to solve problems in a fun and playful environment.
How do I apply for the boot camp?
You can apply for the boot camp on this website using the “Apply” tab. Once we’ve received your application, you will be notified whether your application has been accepted or not via email within 3 working days.
How can I pay the entry fee?
You can pay the entry via bank transfer or cash at the campus in Pamplemousses. Bank details will be sent along with the offer letter.
Does ALC offer financial support for participants?
No, we do not offer financial support at this time.
Should participants bring anything with them to the boot camp?
Materials will be provided by the ALC Bootcamp team.
What will the feeding arrangements be at the ALC Leadership Bootcamp?
All meals (lunch and a snack break) will be provided by the ALC team at the venue. ALC will also cater to all special feeding requirements (vegetarian) if notified before the boot camp.
